MY TITAN FILTER®

High-capacity point-of-use adsorption for selected metals and inorganic contaminants

Point-of-Use Adsorption

Targeted contaminant adsorption / In a high-capacity quick-change filter

MY TITAN FILTER® is a point-of-use cartridge system containing Micro Titan adsorptive media for treatment of selected dissolved inorganic contaminants.

Designed primarily for under-counter residential installation, the system uses a high-capacity adsorbent to reduce specifically validated contaminants while generally retaining naturally occurring calcium and magnesium. The quick-change cartridge design simplifies replacement and operates without electricity or a reverse-osmosis concentrate stream. Cartridge selection and replacement must be based on the target contaminant, its chemical species, influent concentration, water chemistry and certified capacity.

Targeted adsorption / Mineral retention / Quick cartridge replacement

MY TITAN FILTER Introduction

One adsorption platform.
Multiple point-of-use treatment objectives.

MY TITAN FILTER® is intended for water sources with identified contaminants. A laboratory water analysis is required before selecting the cartridge or making drinking-water safety claims.

Under-Counter Drinking Water

Point-of-use treatment for specifically tested dissolved contaminants.

Cooking-Water Treatment

Treated water for cooking and food preparation from a dedicated tap.

Arsenic Treatment

Adsorption of validated arsenic species under defined pH and water-chemistry conditions.

Selected Heavy Metals

Treatment of individually validated metals such as lead, cadmium, chromium or mercury.

Radionuclide Polishing

Specialized treatment for named radionuclides only when supported by product-specific performance data.

Residential Water Polishing

Final-stage treatment after suitable sediment and interfering-contaminant pretreatment.

Four treatment capabilities engineered into one POU platform

MT

Selective Inorganic Adsorption (MICRO-TITAN™)

Micro Titan media provides active surface sites intended to bind selected metal and inorganic contaminants from water.

HC

High-Capacity Cartridge Design (HIGH-CAP TS™)

MTF-TS6 and MTF-TS10 cartridges provide different media volumes for extended point-of-use operation under validated loading conditions.

QC

Simplified Filter Replacement (QUICK-CHANGE™)

The integrated quick-change connection is designed to simplify cartridge removal and replacement while reducing direct contact with spent media.

MK

General Mineral Retention (MINERAL-KEEP™)

Because the system is based on selective adsorption rather than membrane desalination, naturally occurring calcium and magnesium are generally retained.

Science & Technology

MY TITAN FILTER® relies on surface adsorption. Performance depends strongly on contaminant speciation, pH, competing ions, contact time and the available capacity of the Micro Titan media.

  • Surface Binding – Dissolved target ions interact with active sites on the adsorbent surface and are retained through physicochemical binding mechanisms.
  • Contaminant Speciation – Elements can exist in different chemical forms (e.g., arsenite vs. arsenate), so performance cannot be defined by total contaminant concentration alone.
  • Competitive Adsorption – Phosphate, silicate, sulfate, natural organic matter and other dissolved constituents may compete with target contaminants and reduce effective cartridge capacity.
  • Breakthrough-Controlled Replacement – The cartridge must be replaced before contaminant breakthrough based on defined influent concentration, flow rate and treated-water limits.

Frequently
Asked Questions

Important information about MY TITAN FILTER® applications, capacity, performance and safe cartridge replacement.

Contact Support
What is MY TITAN FILTER®?
It is a point-of-use cartridge system containing Micro Titan adsorption media for selected dissolved inorganic contaminants.
What is the difference between MTF-TS6 and MTF-TS10?
The brochure lists MTF-TS6 as 22 inches and MTF-TS10 as 26 inches. Both have a published flow rate of 2.5 gpm.
Does the system remove arsenic?
The brochure states an arsenic application at 100 ppb, but performance depends on arsenic species, pH and competing ions. Current finished-cartridge testing is required.
Does it remove 99.9% of every listed contaminant?
No universal percentage should be published without individual contaminant testing. Different metals and radionuclides have different adsorption behavior and capacities.
Does MY TITAN FILTER® remove bacteria and viruses?
The legacy brochure lists bacteria and viruses, but it does not provide organism-specific log-reduction data. The system should not be marketed as a microbiological purifier without appropriate certification.
Does it remove calcium and magnesium?
It is not designed as a general hardness-removal or desalination system, so calcium and magnesium are normally retained.
Can it replace reverse osmosis?
Only in applications where its certified contaminant capabilities meet every treatment requirement. It cannot universally replace RO for salinity, nitrate, fluoride, microbiological or multi-contaminant treatment.
What is the rated cartridge capacity?
The brochure lists 10,000 US gallons, approximately 37,854 litres, in connection with 100 ppb arsenic. The applicable test conditions must be confirmed.
How often should the cartridge be replaced?
The brochure lists up to 18 months. Replacement may be required earlier if rated capacity is reached or monitoring detects contaminant breakthrough.
Is water testing required?
Yes. Test the raw water before system selection and periodically test treated water when hazardous contaminants are involved.
Does the system require electricity or wastewater discharge?
No electricity or concentrate stream is required during normal adsorption filtration. The spent cartridge still requires replacement and disposal.
How should a spent cartridge be disposed of?
Disposal depends on the accumulated contaminants. Cartridges containing metals or radionuclides may require characterization and controlled waste handling.
