WhiteOxy™

Long-term oxygenation, catalytic oxidation and adsorption for water and environmental restoration

Continuous Water Restoration

Continue the treatment / Sustain oxygen / Support biological recovery

WhiteOxy™ is a proprietary multifunctional treatment developed for extended oxygenation, catalytic oxidation, nutrient adsorption and biological-process support.

WhiteOxy™ is designed primarily as a follow-up treatment after the initial rapid oxidation provided by RedOxy™ or BlackOxy™. Its formulation combines an oxidizing component, catalytic functionality, oxygen-release technology and adsorptive surfaces. This combination is intended to provide continued oxidation of susceptible contaminants, support dissolved-oxygen conditions and improve the environment for aerobic microorganisms. WhiteOxy™ may be considered for contaminated surface water, wastewater, groundwater-remediation systems, sludge, soil and landfill leachate after laboratory testing and regulatory approval.

Initial oxidation completed / Long-term restoration begins

WhiteOxy Introduction

One restoration technology.
Multiple contaminated environments.

WhiteOxy™ can be incorporated into professionally designed treatment programmes as a secondary oxidation, oxygenation or biological-support stage.

Surface Water Restoration

Supports restoration programmes for polluted lakes, ponds, reservoirs and other managed surface waters.

Wastewater & Lagoons

Provides additional oxidation and oxygen support after initial wastewater treatment.

Landfill Leachate Polishing

Proposed as a follow-up treatment after BlackOxy™ to address residual oxidisable contaminants and oxygen demand.

Groundwater Remediation

May support controlled in-situ or ex-situ remediation where subsurface compatibility and regulatory requirements have been established.

Contaminated Soil & Sludge

Can be evaluated for selected soil and sludge treatment projects following treatability and environmental-impact testing.

Industrial Organic Pollution

Targets selected hydrocarbons, phenolic compounds, VOCs, pesticides and other oxidisable organics under validated conditions.

Four technologies / Supporting continued water recovery

O₂

Extended Oxygen Availability (OXY-RELEASE)

The oxygen-release component is designed to support dissolved-oxygen conditions and aerobic biological activity over an extended period.

OX

Continued Contaminant Oxidation (CATALYTIC-OXIDATION)

Catalytic oxidizing chemistry targets susceptible residual organics remaining after the primary RedOxy™ or BlackOxy™ treatment.

SORB

Adsorptive Surface Activity (NUTRIENT-CAPTURE)

Adsorptive components are intended to capture selected nutrients, metals or oxidation by-products, subject to contaminant-specific capacity testing.

BIO

Support for Aerobic Biodegradation (BIOSTIMULATION)

Improved oxygen conditions can stimulate compatible aerobic microorganisms responsible for degrading biodegradable organic matter.

Science & Technology

WhiteOxy™ combines chemical oxidation with oxygen-release and adsorption mechanisms to support continued treatment after the primary rapid-oxidation stage.

  • Continued Oxidation – The oxidizing component reacts with susceptible residual contaminants remaining after initial RedOxy™ or BlackOxy™ application (performance depends on oxidant demand, water chemistry and contact time).
  • Reactive Radical Chemistry – Generates sulfate radicals ($SO_4^{\bullet-}$), which transform selected organic contaminants through electron transfer, hydrogen abstraction and addition reactions.
  • Oxygen Enhancement – Improves dissolved-oxygen availability, supporting aerobic microbial activity and helping prevent strongly reducing or odour-forming conditions.
  • Adsorption and Biostimulation – Adsorptive surfaces capture selected nutrients or contaminants while improved oxygen availability supports biological degradation of biodegradable organic material.

Position within the Oxy Treatment Process

Structuring primary rapid treatment with secondary continued treatment for long-term water quality management.

Oxy Treatment Stage Hierarchy
Treatment Phase Products & Functions
Primary Rapid TreatmentRedOxy™ for selected contaminated water/wastewater | BlackOxy™ for difficult landfill leachate and high-strength wastewater.
Secondary Continued TreatmentWhiteOxy™ for extended oxidation, sustained oxygen support, nutrient/residual adsorption, aerobic biological enhancement, and long-term water quality management.
Storage, Safety and Handling Guidelines
  • Read current WhiteOxy™ SDS before handling; store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Keep away from combustible materials, reducing agents and incompatible chemicals.
  • Wear chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection and suitable protective clothing; avoid inhaling powder dust or spray aerosols.
  • Monitor heat and gas formation during treatment; prevent uncontrolled release into soil, groundwater or surface water.

Contact Support
What is WhiteOxy™?
WhiteOxy™ is a multifunctional oxidation and oxygen-release treatment designed to support continued water or environmental remediation after an initial treatment stage.
How is WhiteOxy™ different from RedOxy™ and BlackOxy™?
RedOxy™ and BlackOxy™ are presented as primary rapid-oxidation treatments. WhiteOxy™ is intended to provide continued oxidation, oxygen support, adsorption and biostimulation.
Can WhiteOxy™ be used as a standalone treatment?
It may be suitable in certain applications, but the brochure primarily presents it as a secondary treatment. Suitability must be determined through treatability testing.
How does WhiteOxy™ work?
It combines an oxidizing component, catalytic activity, oxygen-release technology and adsorptive surfaces to target susceptible pollutants and support aerobic biodegradation.
Which contaminants can it treat?
Potential targets include selected hydrocarbons, phenols, VOCs, pesticides, odorous compounds and residual organic pollution. Every target requires compound-specific verification.
Does WhiteOxy™ remove heavy metals?
Oxidation cannot destroy metals. Adsorptive or precipitation mechanisms may transfer selected metals into solids, but these residuals must be separated and managed.
Does it release oxygen for 365 days?
The existing page and brochure make this claim, but actual oxygen-release duration depends on formulation, temperature, water chemistry and oxygen demand. A documented release curve is required.
What is the recommended dosage?
The brochure references 50 g/m³. This is preliminary guidance only; final dosing must be established for the specific contaminant and treatment environment.
Can it be applied to groundwater?
Potentially, but only through an engineered remediation plan addressing groundwater flow, geochemistry, oxidant transport, mobilised contaminants and regulatory approval.
Is WhiteOxy™ safe for aquatic life?
Safety depends on composition, dosage and exposure. Aquatic-toxicity and residual-oxidant data are required before making an unconditional safety claim.
Must dissolved oxygen always remain above 8 mg/L?
No universal value applies to every site. Appropriate dissolved-oxygen targets depend on temperature, salinity, aquatic species and the treatment objective.
How is successful treatment confirmed?
Success must be demonstrated through analytical monitoring of target contaminants, COD, TOC, dissolved oxygen, residual oxidant, metals, ions and any relevant toxicity endpoints.
