SPECIAL SHOWER FILTER combines three water-conditioning media stages with a micro-spray shower head in one compact, replaceable system.
Designed by Watch Water®, the SPECIAL SHOWER FILTER directs incoming shower water through Titanic Carbon, FILTERSORB® SP3-S and an MgO bead cartridge before distributing it through a micro-spray shower head. The three-stage configuration is intended to reduce verified water-quality concerns, condition temporary hardness and modify the shower-water experience without using a conventional salt-regenerated softener. All contaminant-reduction and water-conditioning claims must be supported by independent testing at realistic shower temperatures and flow rates.

Multi-Component Adsorption Stage (TITANIC CARBON)
Chamber 1 contains Titanic Carbon, described in the brochure as a combination of high-grade powdered activated carbon and Titansorb P-based media. Specific contaminant-reduction claims require independent performance validation.
Temporary-Hardness Conditioning (FILTERSORB® SP3-S)
Chamber 2 uses FILTERSORB® SP3-S nucleation-assisted technology to transform dissolved carbonate-hardness components into stable microscopic calcium-carbonate crystals without adding regeneration salt.
Magnesium-Oxide Bead Cartridge (MgO CONDITIONING)
Chamber 3 contains MgO beads. The finished-water magnesium concentration, pH effects, dissolution profile and cartridge capacity must be established through testing.
Fine Water Distribution (MICRO-SPRAY)
The integrated micro-spray shower head distributes water through a dedicated nozzle plate to create a fine, uniform shower pattern. Any claimed bubble size must be instrumentally verified.
Science behind the SPECIAL Shower Filter
The system combines adsorption, hardness conditioning, mineral interaction and mechanical spray distribution within a replaceable shower-filter assembly.
- Adsorption with Titanic Carbon – Activated-carbon-based media can interact with certain dissolved organic compounds and residual disinfectants (performance depends on temperature, contact time, flow and media condition).
- Nucleation-Assisted Hardness Conditioning – FILTERSORB® SP3-S promotes the formation of microscopic calcium-carbonate crystals from temporary carbonate hardness without removing calcium and magnesium like ion exchange.
- MgO-Water Interaction – Magnesium oxide can interact with water and influence its magnesium concentration and pH depending on inlet chemistry and contact time.
- Micro-Spray Distribution – The nozzle system divides conditioned water into fine spray streams (micro-spray formation should not be described as oxygen generation or microbubble treatment without supporting measurements).
