Watch Water® Quick Exchange System provides a fast and practical method for installing, removing and replacing compatible treatment-media tanks.
The QES uses the exclusively manufactured Quick Exchange Filter Head to connect compatible FRP pressure vessels to the water line. When the treatment medium reaches its replacement point, the complete tank can be disconnected and exchanged for a prepared replacement tank. The used vessel may be returned to an approved distributor for media handling or refilled on-site by appropriately trained personnel. The QEFH 2.2 supports compatible treatment systems with published flow rates up to 15 m³/h.

Four mechanical functions / Integrated into one filter head
Lever-Assisted Tank Connection (QUICK-LOCK)
The Quick Exchange Lever and Handle Lock secure the valve assembly to a compatible pressure-vessel head without permanently replumbing the complete system.
Controlled Depressurization (PRESSURE-RELEASE)
An integrated pressure-release feature supports safer servicing after the water supply has been isolated and the system has been fully depressurized.
Complete Vessel Replacement (TANK-SWAP)
An exhausted media tank can be removed and replaced with a prepared vessel, helping reduce treatment-system downtime.
Distributor or On-Site Refilling (MEDIA-REUSE)
Spent tanks may be transferred to an approved distributor or refilled by trained personnel using the correct compatible medium and filling quantity.
How the Quick Exchange System works
QES separates the permanent plumbing connection from the replaceable treatment vessel, creating a modular interface between the water line and compatible media tank.
- Permanent Plumbing Interface – The QEFH remains connected to the inlet and outlet plumbing while the compatible treatment tank can be removed for service.
- Sealed Tank Connection – The head holder, O-ring, top distributor and handle lock create the connection between the valve body and pressure vessel.
- Controlled Internal Flow – Water is directed through the riser tube, distributors and selected treatment medium according to the approved system configuration.
- Modular Media Replacement – The entire vessel can be exchanged, or spent medium can be removed and replaced while reusing the compatible pressure tank and internal components.
