MY MAGNESIUM FILTER is a point-of-use cartridge developed to introduce magnesium into appropriately treated, low-mineral drinking water.
Reverse osmosis and other demineralization processes can substantially reduce naturally occurring minerals in water. The SPECIAL MAGIC cartridge provides a post-treatment remineralization stage designed to add magnesium and improve the mineral character of purified water. The product range is presented in two cartridge formats—Mg 510 and Mg 520—for integration into compatible drinking-water systems. Final magnesium concentration depends on the cartridge medium, inlet-water chemistry, flow rate, contact time and cartridge condition, and should therefore be confirmed through water testing.

Magnesium Remineralization (MAGNESIUM-RELEASE)
Introduces magnesium into low-mineral water as it passes through the cartridge. The actual release concentration must be verified under the intended operating conditions.
Post-Treatment Mineral Conditioning (MINERAL-BALANCE)
Provides a remineralization stage for water treated by reverse osmosis or another suitable demineralization process.
Compact Point-of-Use Integration (QUICK-CARTRIDGE)
Available in the brochure’s Mg 510 and Mg 520 cartridge formats for use with specifically compatible filter heads and systems.
Conditioned Drinking-Water Profile (WATER-PROFILE)
Helps modify the mineral character of purified water. Taste and final water composition depend on inlet quality and cartridge performance.

Magnesium remineralization science
Remineralization works by bringing treated water into contact with a magnesium-containing medium. Water chemistry and operating conditions determine how much magnesium is transferred into the finished water.
- Mineral Dissolution – The magnesium-containing medium interacts with water during cartridge contact, allowing a controlled quantity of mineral to enter the water.
- Water Chemistry Dependence – Inlet pH, alkalinity, dissolved carbon dioxide, temperature and existing mineral content can influence magnesium release.
- Flow and Contact Time – Flow rate and cartridge contact time affect the final magnesium concentration (performance should be documented across the service life).
- Verification of Finished Water – Magnesium concentration, pH, hardness, conductivity and microbiological quality should be tested before making performance or nutritional claims.
